Adult ADHD assessment

More than a checklist.
A properly rounded assessment.

A careful diagnostic process that explores attention and impulsivity in the context of your development, daily life, mental health and physical health.

03ClarifyEvidence, context and clinical judgement

The question is not only “Do I have ADHD?”

It is also: what explains the difficulties you experience, how have they affected your life, and what would genuinely help? ADHD can overlap with anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, autism, medication effects and physical illness. A GP-led assessment keeps that wider picture in view.

Your current experience

We explore attention, organisation, restlessness, impulsivity and their impact across work, home and relationships.

Developmental history

ADHD begins in childhood, so we look carefully at earlier patterns and seek supporting information where available.

Other explanations

We consider co-existing or alternative mental and physical health conditions rather than forcing symptoms into one diagnosis.

A useful outcome

You receive a clear diagnostic report and personalised next steps, whether or not ADHD is diagnosed.

Optional objective testing

What is QbCheck?

QbCheck is a computer-based task that provides objective measurements of the three core ADHD symptom areas under test conditions: attention, impulsivity and activity.

01

What you do

You complete a standardised 15–20 minute task on a computer. Your webcam tracks movement during the task, but does not record video images.

02

What the report shows

Performance is compared with data from people of the same age and sex at birth who do not have ADHD, helping show whether the pattern is unusual.

03

What it cannot do

QbCheck cannot diagnose or rule out ADHD by itself. It adds one objective piece of evidence alongside clinical interviews, rating scales and history.

04

When it may help

I may suggest it where extra objective information could reduce uncertainty, explain findings more clearly, or provide a baseline for treatment monitoring.

QbCheckWhere clinically useful
